Dustin Nickerson has a great new album called “Overwhelmed” and is the host of a terrific podcast, “Don’t Make Me Come Back There“.  This is his second appearance on the Castle podcast and he proves that nice guys and clean comics do have a point of view worth hearing.  We also have a great conversation with the director of the Furniture Bank of Southeastern Michigan, Rob Boyle.  He talks about all the good work they are doing in the community and promotes their big fundraiser here at the Castle on October 13th. Podcast #110: April Macie

April Macie burst on to the scene with her appearance on season four of “Last Comic Standing” and quickly became a favorite of the Howard Stern show.  She stole the show on “Snoop Dogg Presents: The Bad Girls of Comedy” and recently featured in the Netflix special; “Tiffany Haddish: She Ready!”  She performs all over the world and recently had an Op-Ed published in the LA Times.  A great comic and fascinating person, this is a really fun interview. It’s a big week at The Comedy Castle as Saturday Night Live favorite Chris Kattan returns to the club this Sunday. Chris performed at the club and visited this show back in January of 2020, and you’ll hear that interview with some contemporary comments by Tom – and it’s, um, interesting.
